Heartline Staffing is seeking a compassionate School-Based Therapist (LCSW or LPC) for a full-time opportunity in Floyd, Virginia. POSITION OVERVIEW
This outpatient, school-based position provides primarily in-person behavioral health counseling with occasional telehealth services. The therapist will practice independently while working closely with primary care providers, pharmacy staff, and other members of an integrated care team to provide coordinated, patient-centered behavioral healthcare through warm hand-offs and collaborative treatment planning. :contentReference[oaicite:1]index=1

Key Responsibilities
• Provide individual behavioral health counseling to students
• Deliver primarily in-person therapy with occasional telehealth visits
• Complete behavioral health assessments and treatment planning
• Collaborate with medical providers and pharmacy teams
• Participate in integrated care and warm hand-offs
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Coordinate services with school personnel and families
• Promote positive behavioral health outcomes within the school setting

COMPENSATION
• LCSW: $30.90-$42.23/hour
• LPC: $28.84-$40.17/hour

Requirements

• Active Virginia LCSW License REQUIRED OR Active Virginia LPC License REQUIRED
• Ability to Practice Independently in a School-Based Setting REQUIRED
• Experience Working with Children and Adolescents REQUIRED
• Strong Clinical Assessment and Counseling Skills REQUIRED
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills REQUIRED
• Strong Organizational and Documentation Skills REQUIRED
• Ability to Collaborate Within an Integrated Care Team REQUIRED
• Integrated Behavioral Health Experience Preferred
• Telehealth Experience Preferred
