Physician Assistant I – Hospital-Based Urology Services - NYP/Queens Hospital

NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Groups (NYPMG) are part of the physician enterprise of NewYork-Presbyterian, one of the nation’s most comprehensive academic health care delivery systems affiliated with two world-renowned medical schools. Through primary care and multispecialty medical practices, the physicians and other health care professionals of NYPMG, in collaboration with Columbia Doctors and Weill Cornell Physicians, provide families with high quality, patient-centered care close to home in the New York metropolitan area.

To provide complete surgical care of the urology and general urology patients in the inpatient settings, support the clinical, educational and fiscal objectives of the Division of Urology.

This is position is a 3/12.5-hour per week, hospital-based night position with rotating weekends and holidays located at: 56-45 Main St, Queens, NY 11355

Preferred Criteria

At least one year of Physician Assistant experience.
Experience working in a surgical health care setting.

Required Criteria

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies
Current New York State PA licensure
Current NCCPA certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
BLS, ACLS

Salary Range:

$157,000-$184,275/Annual
