Description
The Correctional Food Service Worker is responsible for the preparation, cooking, serving of meals, and clean up in a correctional facility at Benton County Jail. This position requires adherence to strict hygiene and safety standards while working within the unique environment of a correctional institution. The role involves ensuring that meals are prepared in a timely and efficient manner and that all food service operations comply with facility regulations and health standards. Â Â Â

Qualifications:Â Â
- High school diploma or equivalent. Â
- Preferred experience in food service or culinary roles. Â
- Basic cooking and food preparation skills. Â
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation. Â
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions. Â
- Strong organizational and time-management skills. Â
- Good communication and teamwork skills. Â

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Â
- Capacity to stand for extended periods. Â
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions. Â
