- Establish, review, and follow up on all expectations of staff.
- Conduct management staff meeting.
- Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual staff performance reviews.
- Coach and counsel subordinates on an ongoing, as-needed basis.
- Provide positive reinforcement, recognize and reward staff when warranted, and identify and take corrective action in the event of sub-standard performance.
- Implement emergency procedures.
- Initiate sales and service activities.
- Set and communicate branch sales and service goals and expectations, and lead in achieving those goals.
- Establish branch and individual sales and sales referral goals.
- Develop and conduct branch sales and service programs, including sales-and-service strategies.
- Convert strategies into tactical, executable, and obtainable daily actions for branch staff.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sales and service programs and campaigns.
- Implement and monitor the process of member and non-member contact and follow-up to proactively generate new sales opportunities, increase product awareness, and deepen member relationships.
- Coach all staff members on the processes to accomplish sales initiatives.
- Track and assess results.
- Ensure all staff members are providing consultative member sales and service.
- Conduct member interviews to determine member needs and pair products and services accordingly.
- Based on member interviews, present members with products and services to fulfill needs by explaining their benefits and features.
- Open accounts, accept loan applications, and conduct loan closings, as necessary.
- Act as a liaison between members and departments.
- Promote and enhance new and existing member relationships.
- Resolve errors and member complaints.
- Establish branch and individual performance plans and daily sales action plans.
- Develop and maintain positive member and staff relationships.
- Establish and maintain a positive community presence and active community relationships.
- Perform operational duties.
- Responsible for the balancing functions of the branch and individual representatives.
- Maintain individual personnel files.
- Complete regulatory reports.
- Conduct staff meetings on operational and regulatory matters.
- Perform branch audit functions.
- Ensure that building security procedures are carried out.
- Participate in training and development.
- Responsible for supporting and reinforcing training programs on product knowledge, sales and service techniques, and security procedures.
- Review and monitor the ongoing training progress of staff members.
- Cross-train and encourage coworkers and subordinates to reach their full potential.
- Maintain and develop personal skills to achieve higher level of responsibility through ongoing internal and external continuing education and personal development programs.
- Actively participate in community activities.
- Perform administrative duties.
- Ensure a satisfactory branch audit.
- Reviews staff development requirements and make appropriate recommendations for change.
- Independently address and resolve human resource issues, and in some cases involve Employee Services.
- Serve as a member of task groups pertaining to areas of responsibility or special projects.
- Instill and ensure a cost-conscious attitude among staff in all daily activities.
- Prepare and review the Branch Budget and Profitability Report.
- Review and approve attendance reports and timecards.
- Approve exceptions to branch limits.
- Prepare memos and correspondence.
- Complete and transmit timely sales referral and tracking reports.
- Complete other duties, as assigned.

- Expert ability to build relationships with other leaders, business partners, and stakeholders.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations.

- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
