Key Responsibilities
• Ensure safety program, processes, and safety culture is adhered to on projects. Â
• Submittal and RFI writing.
• Federal contracting experience a big plus.
• Project scheduling. Â
• Tracking and reporting of field production, cost estimates and invoices.
• QC Program documentation.
• Subcontractor management.
• Quantity take-offs and pricing.
• Procure materials.
• Managing field employees.
• Must be available for overnight travel. Â
Qualifications
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Â
• 1-5 years of experience as a Field Project Engineer in heavy civil construction.
• Proficient in MS Project Excel and Word. Heavy Bid and Heavy Job preferred. Primavera and AutoCad desirable. Â
• Strong written communications skills.
• Problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
• Positive communications skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Â
• Physical requirements include being able to lift and carry 75 lbs. and walk on uneven surfaces.
• Physical ability to conduct pre-bid and project field visits.
• Must possess current driver’s license and maintain acceptable driving record according to company standards. • Must be authorized to work in the United States.Â
