THE JOB:

As the Sous Chef Main Kitchen you will bring leadership, creativity, and precision to one of the most dynamic culinary environments on property. From training and mentoring cooks to ensuring every dish meets the highest standards of flavor and presentation, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a dining experience that delights thousands of guests each day. By collaborating closely with your team, maintaining superior food quality, and supporting the team in driving excellence, you will help create WOW moments that keep guests coming back for more.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Train and mentor Lead Cooks, Cooks, Pantry Workers, and Helpers on daily responsibilities

  • Ensure food quality is superior, taking corrective action when needed

  • Oversee requisitions, receiving, and inventory while maintaining accurate labeling and dating of products

  • Maintain knowledge and preparation of base sauces, stocks, and soups

  • Communicate with management and service staff to address guest and employee needs

  • Assist the Executive Room Chef with purchasing, scheduling, and setting kitchen goals focused on profit, product, and people

  • Support compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen

THE SCHEDULE

  • Mid Shift | Full Time

  • 9:00am – 7:00pm (10 hour)

  • Must be open and flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Holds a High School Diploma or GED

  • Exhibits 2+ years of supervisory experience

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume operation while leading by example

  • Excels in coaching, motivating, and fostering a positive team culture

  • Flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
