THE JOB:

As a Sous Chef in SS Outlets, you will lead culinary execution across our high-volume quick-service and self-service venues, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency at every touchpoint. In this role, you will balance speed with excellence — delivering fresh, well-executed food while mentoring and developing your culinary team. Partnering with the Room Chef, you’ll help drive operational performance, maintain food standards, and create a kitchen culture built on accountability, teamwork, and pride.

THE SCHEDULE:

  • Full Time | Night Shift
  • Off | Sunday & Monday
  • Tuesday- Thursday | 12:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Friday & Saturday | 8:00pm – 6:00am
  • Must be open and flexible to work outside of the primary schedule based on the business needs

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Train, coach, and develop Master Cooks, Cooks, Pantry Workers, and Kitchen Helpers
  • Ensure superior food quality, consistency, and presentation in a fast-paced environment
  • Oversee requisitions, labeling, dating, and sanitation standards
  • Maintain strong knowledge of foundational culinary techniques including sauces, stocks, and soups
  • Assist with purchasing, receiving, and inventory control to support cost management
  • Support scheduling and daily labor alignment with business demands
  • Communicate effectively with service teams and leadership to resolve operational needs
  • Uphold all health department regulations and company standards

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Exhibits 2+ years of prior relevant experience as a supervisor
  • Holds a High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
  • Demonstrations flexibility with working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
