Infant / Toddler Assistant Teacher

St. Mary's Montessori School is looking for Infant/Toddler Assistant Teachers, who are self-motivated and looking for a long-term commitment!

We are looking for experienced Infant/Toddler Teachers who have obtained 12 "core units" in Early Childhood Education through an accredited college or certification program :

• Child Growth and Development

• Child, Family, and Community

• Any Early Childhood Education Curriculum Class

• Any Infant and Toddler course

Pay Scale: $16.90 - $23.00 per hour

• To qualify for pay at or above $20.00  an hour  you must have have at least 10 years of professional teaching experience, a BA in early childhood Development, or a  Masters in Early Childhood Development.

Experience: 

• Minimum: 1 year of professional experience as an Assistant Infant/Toddler teacher.

Education:

• Bachelors / Associates Degree in Child Development/Early Child Development (Preferred)

• 12 Core Early Childhood Education(ECE) Units (Required)

• Early Childhood Development Infant & Toddler Units (Required)

• High school or equivalent

Job Requirements Per Department of Social Services:

• 12 Core Early Childhood Education(ECE) Units

• CPR/First Aid Certification

• Live Scan

• Mandated Reporter: General Training, Child Care Provider

• T/Dap / D/Tap & MMR Immunizations
