Simply put, as the Assistant Dietary Manager, you will partner with the Certified Dietary Manager and team to ensure that quality, nutritional meals are provided daily, while maintaining a clean and safe environment. In this position, you may be responsible for a small amount of cooking. You will work to ensure you have a strong team working in the correct positions for a smoothly run kitchen. In addition, you will have delegated tasks for the ordering of inventory, learning how to manage the budget and ensuring menu compliance.

Marquis operates 26 senior care facilities in Oregon, Nevada, California, and provides rehab and pharmacy services across the nation. You’ll be joining a family of more than 4,000 employees, and one purpose unites us all—to be champions of every journey.

• Experience in food preparation in a supervisory role
• Experience as a Lead Chef, Cook in a Long-Term Care, Assisted Living, Retirement facility or other type of healthcare facility is preferred.
• An opportunity to continue your education and obtain your Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) may be available with continued employment.
