Sunshine Pediatric Day Center, an innovative pediatric health care facility in Texas, is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our forward-thinking team. Qualifications:

  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas
  • Possession of a valid CPR certificate

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary health care team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive patient care plans
  • Ensure patient comfort and facilitate cooperation during examinations and therapeutic procedures
  • Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, respiratory rate, and heart rate and initiate timely corrective actions for any adverse symptomatology
  • Perform a range of physical, medical, and diagnostic assessments
  • Administer prescribed medications accurately, documenting all actions in accordance with established protocols
  • Identify and report adverse reactions to medications or treatments promptly
  • Deliver educational support and information to patients families to enhance understanding and engagement
  • Maintain concise, accurate, and timely records of patient care using the appropriate formats and systems
  • Execute additional duties as assigned, tailored to the specific clinical environment
