Position Details

  • Hourly Rate: $56/hr (local)

  • Full-time W2: $125-$140K
  • Per Diem: No perdiem

  • Completion Bonus: $150/month

  • Pay Frequency: Weekly

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday | 40 hrs/week

Project Scope

The Site Safety & Health Officer will be responsible for the direct Safety and compliance oversight of all Abatement, Demolition & Site Restoration activities, including any additional subcontractors

Qualifications

  • EM 385-1-1 certification

  • OSHA 30
  • 10 years of construction safety experience

  • HAZWOPER 40 Certification

  • Abatement / Demolition Experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments

  • Support incident investigations, reporting, and corrective action implementation

  • Deliver safety training and orientation for employees, subcontractors, and new hires

  • Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify and mitigate risks

  • Maintain accurate safety performance, incident, and compliance documentation

  • Promote a safety-first culture across all project levels

Skills & Knowledge

Skills:

  • Strong public speaking and communication abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Professionalism and discretion with sensitive information

Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards

  • Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and enforce compliance
