KBR is seeking a Senior PNT (Positioning, Navigation, and Timing) Systems Engineer to lead integration, test, and evaluation of PNT systems operating in various environments. This role supports laboratory, simulation, and operationally relevant systems across research and applied DoW programs. This position requires deep experience in systems engineering and PNT fundamentals (or related experience in the EW domain), with the ability to own system integration efforts, guide technical execution, and assess system performance across hardware, software, and test domains. The engineer will work closely with software engineers and hardware teams to mature PNT capabilities from concept through evaluation.

  • Lead integration of EW and PNT hardware, software, and test environments
  • Own system requirements, interfaces, and verification strategies for EW and PNT systems
  • Plan and lead laboratory, HIL/SIL, and field test campaigns
  • Assess system performance, limitations, and risks under operationally relevant conditions
  • Design and execute realistic simulations for testing, analysis, training, and evaluation purposes within the cyber and EW domains.
  • Ensure alignment between algorithm behavior, hardware constraints, and system requirements
  • Support system architecture development, trade studies, and technical decision-making
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their unique requirements and providing tailored solutions.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and journeyman engineers
  • Document system architectures, test results, and assessments to support technical reviews and customer deliverables

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of professional experience in systems engineering, integration, and test of technical systems
  • Strong understanding of EW and/or PNT systems, architectures, and performance drivers
  • Experience leading laboratory and/or field-based test activities
  • Experience integrating complex multi component systems
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoW security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced experience supporting GNSS, navigation, and/or timing system integration
  • Experience with contested, degraded, or denied PNT and/or EW environments
  • Familiarity with digital engineering and/or model based systems engineering approaches Experience supporting DoW programs, laboratory R&D, and/or operational prototyping efforts
  • Active U.S. DoD security clearance

Basic Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 (For Maryland Only)
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
