Duluth Law Firm Bookkeeper/IOLTA Account Specialist
We are a Personal Injury, Immigration, and Workers' Compensation law firm with an immediate opening for an experienced, full-time, self starting, organized, and trustworthy Bookkeeper to join our team.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years bookkeeping within a law firm.
- Skilled to Independently handle accounts payable/receivable and general bookkeeping.
- Comfortable working with Sr. Management to create, monitor, and manage annual budget.
- Generates various ad hoc monthly and quarterly management reports as requested.
- Experienced and knowledgeable about working with IOLTA accounts and monitoring client fund statuses to ensure strict regulatory compliance.
- Ability to perform general bank deposits and account reconciliation.
- Experience working closely with CPA to manage corporate accounts, taxes, etc.
- Must have ability to work independently, and possess an unwavering level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism, with a keen eye for details.
- Possess ingrained consistency with accuracy and good judgment especially when handling client funds and settlement disbursements.
- Should be comfortable and confident when handling confidential financial information and transactions involving significant amounts of money.
Software
- Proficient in QuickBooks (certified preferred)
- Some experience with Filevine or other case management software, desired
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially Excel
