Position Details:

• Title: Special Education Teacher
• Location: Forest Lake, MN
• Duration: 08-Jan-2026 to 05-Jun-2026
• Onsite/Virtual: Onsite
• Position Type: Contract
• Working Hours: 37.5 hours weekly, from Monday to Friday (7:15am-3:15pm)
• Student Age Group: Middle School Autism classroom
• Case Load: 22 Kids, no IEPs or Evals due to a designated team that takes care of this.

Responsibilities: Special Education Teacher

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities.
• Conduct assessments and monitor student progress to track their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Work closely with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to coordinate services and ensure a cohesive educational plan for each student.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the unique needs of students with special needs.

Qualifications: SPED Teacher

• Minnesota Department of Education Special Education license required.
• Licensure in ASD preferred.
• Holds a Bachelor's degree.
