About the Role:
The Receiver plays a critical role in the supply chain and inventory management process by ensuring that all incoming shipments are accurately received, inspected, and documented. This position is responsible for verifying the quantity and quality of goods received against purchase orders and shipping documents to maintain inventory accuracy. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software or databases.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely, typically up to 50 pounds.

- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and vendors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, receiving, or inventory control role.
- Familiarity with barcode scanning technology and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime or weekends if required.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Inspect goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate departments.
- Accurately document received items in inventory management systems and update records promptly.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of received products.
- Maintain a clean and safe receiving area in compliance with company safety protocols.
