2nd Shift 3PM-11PM

 

Responsibilities and Activities:

  • Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on machinery.
  • Troubleshoots equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain production quality.
  • Inspects equipment and systems to identify potential problems.
  • Sets up machinery and performs basic troubleshooting.
  • Ensures the use of proper materials and documentation.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area.
  • Reports safety issues and machine problems to the Supervisor.
  • Communicates effectively with coworkers and leadership.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as required to ensure the team's success.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education

  • High school diploma or GED

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a machine operator role with electrical and mechanical expertise

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment (conveyors, inserters, forklifts, air lines, conduit, and wiring).
  • Knowledge of predictive/productive maintenance systems and ability to determine mechanical priorities.
  • Strict adherence to safety/OSHA guidelines, including lock-out/tag-out, HazCom, and departmental SOPs.
  • Manual dexterity and the ability to bend, perform repetitive motions, stand for long periods, and lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills with a positive attitude; able to work independently or seamlessly in a team.
  • Strong leadership traits with the ability to train/mentor other technicians and suggest improvements to upper management.
  • Well-organized, able to prioritize tasks, willing to learn new skills, and accountable for quality.
  • Available for a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.
