C Shift Wednesday – Saturday 7am-6pm

This position is responsible for operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities 

• During your work shift, which will consist of 8-10 hours, you must be willing to move around the work area at a fast pace and willing to bend, squat, lift, push, pull, up to (40) pounds. 

• Clean lot and pick up trash throughout shift and during down time.  

• Must be willing to endure standing, walking, and climbing up and down from yard shuttle vehicles up to 100% of the time. 

• At certain times, other job duties may be part of the routine. 

• Follow all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines. 

Requirements

• Must be willing to drive, walk, sit, bend, stoop, twist as needed and repeat all essential functions throughout the shift.

• Must be willing to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. 

• Work is performed outside and therefore requires must be willing to work/drive in inclement weather; hot, cold, dusty, icy, etc.

• The position also involves completion of paperwork as well as frequent communication using a radio to communicate with the shipping department.

• The Team Member must be willing to complete all required training for the job and perform any other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to perform position tasks. 

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and be 18 years or older and must be able to pass MVR report. No CDL is required.

•  must have 3 months of tractor trailer driving experience.

Qualifications 

Must have Valid State Driver's license and pass MVR Qualification.

Proficiency in reading and writing.

ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels
