- Chenega Naswik International, LLC is seeking professional and customer-focused Access Control Officers to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Security and Emergency Management Directorate. This position plays a critical role in protecting MDA personnel, facilities, and assets by managing access control operations, screening visitors, monitoring facility security, and supporting emergency response activities.

What You'll Do
- Control access to buildings and property, protect equipment and material and perform interior and exterior facility security inspections as directed. 
- Issue visitor badges in accordance with established policies by; 
- Ensuring visitors present a valid photo identification or passport, verifying their identity as part of the visitor access process. 
- Create temporary access badges for approved personnel accessing the MDA  facilities 
- Interpret magnetometers and X-Ray checks according to procedures to ensure security is not compromised. 
- Ensure visitors secure items they are prohibited from bringing into the facility, including personal electronic devices. 
- Conduct security measures such as RAMs, ESMs, and Facility Access Inspections as directed by Security Operations 
- Escort on-site personnel to restricted areas. (SMDC Only). 
- Conduct Extra Security Measures (ESM) as needed. 
- Conduct interior/exterior checks of MDA facilities to verify security is not compromised, reporting all observed violations of MDA policies and procedures immediately upon discovery to the Shift Supervisor (SS) or Security Control Center (SCC).  
- Respond and assist medical, fire department, law enforcement, and other personnel at the direction of supervisors. 
- Provides the SS or SCC with on-the-spot assessment when responding to an emergency incident. 
- Respond to emergencies and perform CPR/AED/First Aid as needed. 
- Coordinate with the Security Operation Center to ensure all functional and operational procedures are followed during special events. 
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
 
-  High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Must possess current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and Red Cross First Aid certifications.
- Ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally with employees, visitors, customers, and government personnel.
- Ability to follow established security procedures, policies, and operational requirements.

- Ability to operate security screening equipment and access control technologies.

Estimated Salary/Wage
USD $24.48/Hr. Up to USD $28.05/Hr.
