About the role

Kaimetrix is seeking a Database Administrator – Level III to support the day-to-day management and maintenance of enterprise database systems in a secure, mission-critical environment. This role ensures the availability, performance, integrity, and security of critical data assets while supporting database operations and administration activities.

What you'll do

Perform database installation, configuration, performance monitoring, and security administration
Execute backup and recovery operations to ensure data protection and system continuity
Conduct performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient database performance
Assist in defining functional requirements, data relationships, and storage needs for database systems
Create and maintain standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base documentation for database platforms
Participate in on-call support and assist with resolving database-related issues to maintain system availability
Support implementation of database security measures and ensure adherence to security policies

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in database administration or related data management roles
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Certifications:

Advanced cybersecurity or database certification such as CISSP, CASP+, Microsoft Azure Data certification, Oracle Database Administration certification, or equivalent

Clearance:

Active Tier 3 (T3) background investigation or ability to obtain and maintain
