Software Architect (2 positions)

Work Location: Remote with regular meetings at Ft. Belvoir, VA

Clearance Requirements: IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive / Tier 3 (T3) required

Position Overview

Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a Software Architect for the potential upcoming opportunity:

Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
Responsible for project completion.
Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects for management.

Position Duties

Design and develop new software products and major enhancements to existing solutions.
Address systems integration, compatibility, and multi-platform implementation challenges.
Provide technical leadership and architectural direction to development teams.
Ensure software solutions align with program requirements and enterprise standards.
Perform feasibility analysis and technical evaluations for future projects.
Support project completion through planning, oversight, and stakeholder coordination.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and architecture artifacts.

Minimum Requirements

Five (5) years of relevant experience
Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority

Clearance Requirements

IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive / Tier 3 (T3) required
