Lead Custodian

What You’ll Do 

As Lead Custodian, you will be directly responsible for ensuring the facilities are in clean, working order and perform regular and ongoing maintenance. We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Lead Custodian to oversee and coordinate cleaning and maintenance activities across our facilities.

Your Responsibilities Will Include: 

• Ensuring that the bathrooms, hallways, kitchens and other areas of the facility are kept

• clean on an ongoing basis.

• Performing routine maintenance activities including heavy cleaning duties, i.e - Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and/or vacuuming floors.

• Responding to maintenance requests, including light repairs.

• Moving furniture, when needed.

• Unpacking and stocking supplies for the cafeterias and kitchenette.

• Taking action without being asked or required to; achieving goals beyond job requirements; being proactive; taking prompt action to accomplish objectives.

• Monitoring and checking work to meet quality standards; demonstrating a high level of care and thoroughness; checking work to ensure completeness and accuracy. 

• Performing other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

You're a great fit for this role if you have:

• High School Diploma or GED required. A combination of education and experience will be considered. 

• Custodial, janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred. 

• An active Department of Defense (DOD) security clearance (required)

Compensation 

• $24.72 Per Hour 

Work Schedule 

• Monday – Friday (weekend work may be required) 

•  7 AM – 3 PM
