Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineer to support military aviation programs, with a primary focus on Special Operations aircraft, avionics, sensors, aircraft survivability equipment (ASE), and weapon systems. The selected candidate will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing flight test activities while working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive flight test plans.
  • Coordinate flight test activities, including test range scheduling and planning.
  • Collect, process, and analyze test data.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Army flight test regulations and standards.
  • Participate in Technical Interface Meetings (TIM), Program Reviews, Test Integration Working Groups (TIWG), and System Safety Working Groups (SSWG).
  • Support aerial flight testing in a Flight Test Engineering capacity.
  • Collaborate with engineering, safety, and program management teams to support system integration efforts.
  • Perform administrative and logistical support activities as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience supporting military rotary-wing aircraft.
  • Minimum 10 years of military or commercial aviation experience.
  • Minimum 10 years supporting Special Operations Aviation programs.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience planning and conducting flight tests.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting the Defense Acquisition process.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or Interim Secret Clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Experience
Experience supporting one or more of the following platforms:
  • A/MH-6
  • MH-47
  • MH-60
  • MQ-1
