Senior Service Advisor β€” Nissan | Fort Collins, CO

The short version

We're hiring a Senior Service Advisor who can own the drive with confidence. If you've built a book of customers who ask for you by name, hit your numbers without leaning on high-pressure tactics, and can steady a busy Saturday morning lane, we should talk.

Why this seat

Fort Collins is a service market with real volume and real loyalty β€” a lot of our customers have bought three and four vehicles from us. That means your job isn't chasing one-time repair orders. It's protecting relationships worth a decade of revenue.

You'll work a well-equipped shop with technicians who don't need to be babysat, a parts department that keeps you supplied, and a fixed ops leader who will back your decisions in front of a customer. We invest in advisors who want to grow β€” not ones we plan to replace in eight months.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers from write-up through delivery β€” set expectations clearly and then meet them
  • Build accurate, well-documented repair orders that technicians can actually work from
  • Present recommended maintenance and repairs honestly, with the "why" behind each item, so customers make informed decisions
  • Manage the status of every open RO in your queue and communicate proactively β€” no customer should ever have to call and ask what's happening with their vehicle
  • Handle warranty, extended service contracts, and Nissan-specific programs correctly the first time
  • Resolve escalations before they become surveys or reviews, and know when to bring a manager in
  • Mentor newer advisors on process, product knowledge, and customer handling
  • Hit and exceed targets for hours per RO, effective labor rate, and CSI

What we're looking for

Required

  • 3+ years as a Service Advisor in a franchise dealership
  • Demonstrated track record on CSI and customer retention β€” be ready to talk about your actual numbers
  • Ability to explain technical work in plain language without talking down to anyone
  • Comfort with dealership DMS and service scheduling systems
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable record
  • Professional written and verbal communication

Strongly preferred

  • Nissan experience (NNAnet, Nissan warranty submission, Nissan service certifications)
  • Experience mentoring or leading a service drive
  • ASE C1 Service Consultant certification
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

What actually makes someone succeed here

The best advisors we've had share the same traits: they follow up before they're asked, they'd rather deliver bad news early than good news late, and they treat the technicians as teammates instead of a resource to argue with. Skill can be trained. That temperament can't.

Compensation and benefits

  • Base plus commission on customer-pay labor and parts gross, with a performance bonus tied to CSI
  • Realistic first-year total earnings: $90,000–$95,000Β depending on experience and performance
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and service
  • Paid Nissan factory training and certification
  • Five-day schedule with rotating Saturdays
