Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our team in Fort Collins. This role involves operating a tandem axle flatbed truck equipped with an attached forklift to deliver goods directly to designated job site locations. The ideal candidate will have experience with flatbed hauling, load securement, and navigating construction or industrial sites.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate a tandem axle flatbed truck with an attached forklift in compliance with company policies and all federal, state, and local regulations.
Deliver materials to specific job site locations, often requiring maneuvering in tight or challenging environments.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle and equipment are in safe working condition.
Maintain accurate records, including duty status logs, mileage, and other required documentation.
Secure loads properly and ensure safe transport throughout the trip.
Report any injuries, vehicle defects, accidents, or violations per company procedures.
Wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols.
Obtain receipts or signatures for deliveries and collect payments when necessary.
Use onboard equipment (e.g., tablets, CB radios, GPS) to communicate with dispatch and other drivers.
Assist with warehouse and yard duties when not scheduled for deliveries.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30 AM-5PM

With one rotating Saturday a month 8 am-12 pm

Pay Range: $26-$28 an hr DOE

Requirements

Three years of Class A CDL driving experience
All trucks at this location are automatic
One year of experience operating a flatbed truck
Knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures
Experience with strapping/securement
Registered with FMCSA clearinghouse
Knowledge of Electronic Logging requirements, GPS systems, and ability to read maps
Clean driving record and diligent attention to safety
