This position is responsible for supporting and providing engineering services for the electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
This CO-OP position is open to CSU Chemical and Biological Engineering students entering their senior year. The role is full-time and based in Fort Collins.
Students selected for this position will be required to pause their senior-year coursework for the duration of the co-op, which may last up to twelve months.
Essential Duties:
Primarily perform project work in a given engineering discipline of expertise.
Generally work as part of a team under the direction of a senior engineer, but should be capable of working independently as well.
Assist in the design and development of all aspects of process control systems, including hardware and software components.
Assist in the coordination of operation, maintenance, and upgrades of equipment and systems throughout the brewery.
Use computer–assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks.
Participate as a team member focusing on various initiatives when requested.
Apply client or company standards and procedures in all the work that is performed.
Maintain frequent contact with counterparts to share any information necessary to efficiently complete projects.
Maintain a high level of technical competency in current technologies, product offerings and their application.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
Education/ Experience/Skills:
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field
General electrical skills and abilities.
General understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and techniques.
Ability to plan own work and the work of others and lead work groups or teams.
Ability to interpret, understand policies and relate them to others.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
Ability to exercise initiative and judgment as well as make decisions within the scope of assigned authority.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general technical periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.
Starting Hourly Range: $23.50-$25.00
