What You'll Do

As a Medical Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting providers and delivering an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Rooming patients and preparing them for examination and treatment
  • Obtaining and documenting patient medical histories, medications, allergies, and chief complaints
  • Recording vital signs and updating electronic medical records
  • Assisting providers with dermatologic examinations, procedures, biopsies, surgeries, and cosmetic treatments
  • Preparing exam and procedure rooms, instruments, and supplies
  • Educating patients on treatment plans, medications, skincare recommendations, and follow-up care
  • Processing specimens and maintaining accurate clinical documentation
  • Ensuring patient confidentiality and compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations
  • Providing outstanding customer service to patients and visitors
  • Supporting clinic operations and maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Prior medical assistant, healthcare, or clinical experience preferred
  • Dermatology experience preferred but not required
  • Medical Assistant certification, diploma, or completion of a medical vocational program preferred
  • CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain within 4 weeks of employment
  • Ability to learn and understand medical terminology, anatomy, and vital signs
  • Strong computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
