Position Summary
Extended Orientation programs at CSU serve as an opportunity for first-year students to build upon their Ram Orientation (on-campus) experience through engaging in small- and large-group activities to create a deeper sense of community. The longest-running Extended Orientation program within OTP is Ram Connect: Mountain in which students travel up to the CSU Mountain Campus to explore and engage with the great Colorado outdoors. Each summer, there are 3 two-day, two-night sessions with about 50 first-year participants each. The student staff working this program is a group called Ram Connect Leaders.

Essential Duties
Develop and implement programming for Ram Connect Extended Orientation programming
Assist in training of Ram Connect Leaders
Attend and serve as on-site coordinator for 3 sessions of Ram Connect: Mountain
Develop and implement assessment tool for Ram Connect programming
Conditions of Employment
Pre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for new hires)
Must work Ram Connect Program weekends during the summer
Must travel up to CSU Mountain Campus for training and programming
Supervision
Will co-supervise Ram Connect Leaders with Coordinator, Transition Programs
Minimum Qualifications
Must be selected through NODA Internship process
Must be in a graduate program for Student Affairs Administration, Student Affairs in Higher Education, College Student Personnel, or similar program
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated commitment to serving students, families, and supporters in the onboarding process
Demonstrated experience facilitating large groups
Demonstrated experience supervising students
Salary Range
