We are seeking an Entry Level Trailer Service Mechanic for our Fort Collins shop to perform basic trailer repairs and maintenance of the following:

Bearing pack service
Electric brake repairs and maintenance
Body work (side panel, trim, etc.)
Electrical systems repairs and diagnostic
Welding
DOT Inspections
Diagnose & provide recommendations on repairs
New Trailer PDI’s (pre-delivery inspections)
Accurately record description & hours of all work performed on RO’s
Operate shop equipment
Maintain a clean & safe working environment
Perform additional duties as needed
Operate forklift and yard tractor

Requirements

Trailer Service Mechanic Requirements:

Basic mechanical knowledge.
Positive attitude and team player.
Customer Service driven.
Ready to work at start of shift.
Able to move trailers in & out of the shop with yard truck.
Able to follow work instructions & direction from supervisor.
Valid Driver’s License & a satisfactory MVR.
Ability to pass post-offer physical & drug screen.

Requirements

Schedule:

8-hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Rotating Saturday

Ability to commute/relocate:

Fort Collins, CO: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Driver's License (Required)
