Job Description

Schedule: Part Time 

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Perform all necessary dish and pot washing and general cleaning duties.

• Wash, clean, and properly store utensils, chinaware, flatware, glassware, pots, and pans to support dining room and kitchen operations.

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen areas according to established cleaning schedules and procedures.

• Maintain the dish room, including washing floor mats, draining and cleaning the dishwasher, shining stainless steel, and keeping the area clean and organized.

• Sweep and mop dish room, kitchen, storage, and other food-service areas.

• Prepare and package to-go orders and resident meal deliveries accurately and according to established procedures.

• Deliver prepared meals to the concierge desk or directly to resident apartments as assigned.

• Bus and clear dining room tables throughout meal service and assist in maintaining a clean, organized dining environment.

• Reset, clean, and restock service stations to ensure they are fully prepared for continued meal service.

• Roll, stock, and maintain an adequate supply of silverware for dining service.

• Assist the dining and culinary teams with additional cleaning, sanitation, service, and operational duties as assigned to support an efficient resident dining experience.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

• must be self starter
• must be able to communicate in an interdisciplinary team 
• must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk and move frequently during working hours
• must be able to lift, and carry up to 30 lbs. and push or pull up to 40 lbs.
