Position Summary

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department is seeking an applicant for the role of laboratory assistant. The assistant will assist with water sample processing and water quality analysis including total suspended solids, nutrients, organic content.

Required Job Qualifications

• Completion of introductory chemistry and biology classes.

• Experience working in a water quality lab including conducting filtrations.

• Experience with collection of water samples.

Essential Duties

• Water sample filtrations.

• Water quality analysis including total suspended solids, nutrients, organic content.

• Laboratory clean up and organization.
