We are seeking an Entry Level Trailer Service Mechanic for our Fort Collins shop to perform basic trailer repairs and maintenance of the following:

• Bearing pack service
• Electric brake repairs and maintenance
• Body work (side panel, trim, etc.)
• Electrical systems repairs and diagnostic
• Welding
• DOT Inspections
• Diagnose & provide recommendations on repairs
• New Trailer PDI’s (pre-delivery inspections)
• Accurately record description & hours of all work performed on RO’s
• Operate shop equipment
• Maintain a clean & safe working environment
• Perform additional duties as needed
• Operate forklift and yard tractor

Trailer Service Mechanic Requirements:

• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Customer Service driven.
• Ready to work at start of shift.
• Able to move trailers in & out of the shop with yard truck.
• Able to follow work instructions & direction from supervisor.
• Valid Driver’s License & a satisfactory MVR.
• Ability to pass post-offer physical & drug screen.

Requirements

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating Saturday 

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Fort Collins, CO: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
