Accenture Federal Services is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining and operating a robust Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to support the development and deployment of secure software solutions. You will work with tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD to ensure seamless integration and delivery processes. A key aspect of your work will involve embedding security into every stage of the pipeline by integrating tools for static and dynamic code analysis, as well as vulnerability scanning. Additionally, you will implement and maintain automated testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the reliability and quality of the software. Your expertise will also be critical in collaborating with the development team to identify and address security vulnerabilities in deployed products while ensuring compliance with relevant security regulations and standards.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain and operate the CI/CD pipeline, including tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
- Ensure the integration of security tools and processes into the CI/CD pipeline, including static code analysis, dynamic code analysis, and vulnerability scanning.
- Implement and maintain automated testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the deployed software product.
- Implement and maintain compliance with relevant security regulations and standards.
- Design, develop, and implement CI/CD DevSecOps pipelines within secure GovCloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and Impact Level 6 or higher.
- Operate and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, including provisioning and configuring cloud resources, monitoring system performance, and ensuring cloud security and compliance.
- Manage and identify high-level technical specifications for software applications, including defining system architecture, designing data models, and developing interface specifications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical guides.
- Ensure expertise with Kubernetes and infrastructure as code to support scalable and secure deployments.
- Leverage experience with cloud computing platforms, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and IBM Cloud, to optimize infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Maintain observability and security across the software lifecycle, ensuring compliance within appropriate security classification and impact level domains
What you’ll need:
- BS in Computer Science or related technical field and over 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience with CI/CD DevSecOps pipeline implementation
- Familiarity with virtual machines, containers, and serverless computing
Bonus Points if you have:
- Ability to operate across multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and IBM Cloud.
- Experience creating technical documentation
Clearance:
- Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
