Position: Human Resources Specialist III

Level: Senior

Location: Fort Meade, MD

Office: J0

Clearance required: TS/SCI with CI poly

Required education:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Business, or Human Relations

Required experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience Human Relations Officer or Specialist

Basic Qualifications
  • 10 years of experience as a Human Relations Officer or Specialist
  • Knowledge of military or civilian personnel systems
  • Ability to process military awards and decorations
Job Description
  • Provide military personnel management analysis to assist and support the staff with the management of military personnel and the overall Command military personnel policies, procedures, training, and programs.
  • Ensure military programs, including awards and decorations, are coordinated, and meet appropriate timelines for submission for approval.
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing program management and ensuring compliance with appropriate administrative guidelines and policies.
  • Develop briefings, information papers, agendas, and other documents, as required by the government client.
  • Support military and civilian personnel in-and-out processing.
  • Maintain personnel databases.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Knowledge of military personnel guidance and processes
  • Ability to work with senior client staff
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
