Location: Delta Junction, Alaska

What You Will Do

  • Perform high-pressure grout injection operations to stabilize rock formations and control water inflow.
  • Operate and monitor grout pumps, mixing systems, and injection equipment in underground or surface mining environments.
  • Prepare and mix cement, chemical, or resin-based grout materials following engineering specifications.
  • Install and operate packers, pressure gauges, hoses, and valves used in injection systems.
  • Monitor pressure levels, flow rates, and grout volumes to ensure effective treatment of ground conditions.
  • Read and follow grouting plans, drilling layouts, and geotechnical instructions.
  • Maintain detailed grouting logs, operational reports, and quality control records.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with geotechnical engineers, drilling crews, and mine supervisors to complete stabilization projects.
  • Follow all mine safety standards, procedures, and environmental regulations.
  • Schedule: Rotation – 14 days on / 14 days off
     

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in high-pressure grouting, ground support, or underground mining operations.
  • Hands-on experience operating grouting pumps, mixers, and injection systems.
  • Knowledge of cementitious grouting, chemical grouting, or polyurethane injection methods.
  • Ability to interpret technical plans, procedures, and engineering instructions.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding underground environments.
  • Willingness to work rotational schedules at remote mine sites.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in underground mining, tunneling, or geotechnical ground improvement.
  • Certifications such as mine safety training (MSHA).
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience maintaining high-pressure pumping equipment.
