Course Description

Foundational theories and practices of communication, including public speaking, content, delivery, and design. Section emphasis may vary by instructor.

Qualifications

Doctor’s or Master’s degree in teaching discipline, or a Masters’s degree with a concentration in teaching discipline (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).

Degrees Within the Teaching Discipline:

Speech, Communication, Communication Studies.

Related Discipline:

Rhetoric, English, Education (cognate in Speech or Communication Studies), Applied Linguistics, Applied Communication Arts.
