We are a national network of experienced, high-level, freelance attorneys and paralegals who provide remote, on-demand support for both short-term and long-term legal projects for our client law firms.
Due to increased demand, we are now interviewing for a qualified, experienced, and dedicated South Florida Probate & Estate Litigation Attorney.
Remote work hours will vary, but are expected to be approximately 20–30 hours per week, with the potential to transition into a full-time opportunity.
Attorney Responsibilities:
- Handle probate litigation and estate-related disputes
- Assist with probate administration matters and related proceedings
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
- Review case files and assist with litigation strategy
- Support active matters from inception through resolution
- Attend hearings and court appearances as needed
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure cases progress efficiently
Attorney Requirements:
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Florida
- Located in South Florida or willing to attend in-person hearings as needed
- Minimum of 5+ years of probate and litigation experience
- Probate litigation experience strongly preferred; general litigation experience will also be considered if accompanied by significant probate experience
- Experience with estate planning and/or guardianship matters is a plus, but not required
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and meet deadlines
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience across probate, estate planning, and guardianship matters
- Experience handling contested probate, trust, or fiduciary disputes
- Interest in a long-term relationship with the potential to transition into a full-time role
Our Attorney pay rate starts at $80/hour.
