Job DetailsJob Location: General - Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304What will I be contributing? Ensures that all tasks are completed, as needed when requested by the leader of the department. Any task requested, including but not limited to the tasks below, to be done at the time requested,  in a timely manner. Expectations of this position: Take every opportunity to amaze the guests. Bringing a talent or special skill you would like to contribute during events or when needed. Be available on an on-call basis. Tasks may include helping any/all departments based on need. Duties will be explained, in detail when called in. Duties may change at any time. Be willing to wear costumes during events or when needed. Assist in beautifying the village.  May include landscaping, decorating, cleaning, etc. Assists with: Prep, set-up, and take down events. Manage social media accounts. Food-running, bussing, and barback. Hosting and general cleanliness of restaurants and other areas. Concierge. Perform miscellaneous gigs including but not limited to: Stilt walking. Dancing. Playing an instrument. Face painting. Other misc. talents and skills you’d like to bring to our team. Expectations of every Villager: Be an enthusiastic, helpful and positive member of the team. Perform other assignments as assigned or requested. Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company including, but not limited to those contained in the associate handbook. Initiate suggestions on processes and duties on a regular basis to continue fostering active communication and participation.  Take initiative to complete tasks over and above what is asked. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.QualificationsQualifications, Skills and Abilities Most work tasks will be performed outdoors.   Temperatures will be moderate and controlled by resort environmental systems, when indoors. Must be able to work in extreme temperatures like freezers (-10 degrees F) and kitchens (+110 degrees F), possibly for one hour or more. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length. Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously. Must be able to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.  Must be able to set-up and take-down large tents. Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
