Job DetailsJob Location: RP Bar and grill - Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304Position Type: Full-Time/Part-TimeJob Category: Restaurant - Food Service Serves patrons with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner. Provides information to help food and beverage selections. Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers. Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol. Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked. Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies. Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Keep glasses, bar equipment, and working areas clean Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons choices and identifying patrons special dietary needs and special requests. Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting the timing of meal progression. Knowledge of surrounding areas and local events. Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit, and cash handling policies and procedures. Ability to learn safety, emergency, and accident prevention policies and procedures. Knowledge of proper telephone etiquette. Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience Hands-on experience in cashier duties Attention to cleanliness and safety Patience and customer-oriented approach Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude Responsible and trustworthy High school diploma is a plus but not required Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
