Known for its lively spirit and health-conscious menu, Motek continues to expand its footprint in South Florida with this exciting, new location by the sea.
Position Overview:
As we embark on our newest opening, we are seeking passionate and dedicated team members to join our team at our newest location!
As a host/hostess, you will play a crucial role in starting our guests amazing dining experience off on the right foot. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, the Host plays a vital role in setting the tone for the overall dining experience. Responsible for providing a warm, welcoming, and organized entry point, the Host ensures a smooth and efficient flow of guests throughout the restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests with a warm smile.
- Manage waitlist and reservations efficiently.
- Answer incoming calls from guests and assist with general inquiries, reservations, takeout orders as needed.
- Assist with guest requests or accommodations such as seating preferences, highchairs, or any additional special requests.
- Support takeout/pick up orders as needed.
- Monitor cleanliness and presentation of host stand, entrances, menus, and guest areas throughout shift.
- Utilize technology such as SevenRooms to seat guests.
- Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment by communicating effectively and supporting team members.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant; minimum 2 years in a host/hostess role.
- Experience working with SevenRooms.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
