Position SummaryAdvanced Air Systems is looking for an experienced HVAC Construction Manager to support our commercial service team through hands‑on field oversight, technician support, and quality control. This role supports commercial HVAC service operations by overseeing the quality, safety, and execution of service work. The position is split 50% between office responsibilities and 50% on‑site job visits, supporting technicians, reviewing work, and addressing technical or service‑related issues. While the role does not have direct reports, it has the authority to train, coach, and discipline service technicians to ensure compliance with company standards and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities- Enforce branch objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards in accordance with corporate guidelinesÂ
- Monitor and ensure the quality of commercial HVAC service work through job site visits and inspectionsÂ
- Support assigned customer relationships and assist with issue and conflict resolutionÂ
- Monitor technician safety performance and ensure compliance with company and OSHA safety programsÂ
- Assist with job scoping and estimating for repairs, replacements, and maintenance workÂ
- Meet regularly with technicians to review daily work activities and ensure job readinessÂ
- Respond to on‑site incidents and service emergencies in accordance with company proceduresÂ
- Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule, including weekendsÂ
- Assist with diagnosing and resolving complex technical HVAC issuesÂ
- Train, coach, and discipline technicians as needed to address technical or performance issuesÂ
- Conduct monthly toolbox talks and reinforce safety and quality standardsÂ
- Perform job site inspections and assist with material takeoffs as directedÂ
- Provide technical support to technicians as neededÂ
- Provide daily and/or weekly operational reports to the HVAC Service ManagerÂ
- Support service projects, including repairs, replacements, and maintenance, through value engineering and coordination with the Service Manager and Service CoordinatorÂ
- Assist with material planning, monitor material orders and deliveries, and support inventory counts as requiredÂ
- Monitor job progress, service production, and quality through field inspections and customer feedbackÂ
- Ensure all required inspections are scheduled, completed, and passedÂ
- Assist with coordination of deliveries and equipment, including cranes, for larger service jobs when neededÂ
- Perform additional duties as required by branch operations or as directed by the Service Manager
 Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required  Education - 4-year technical degree or equivalent or extensive experience in the commercial HVAC industry preferred
 Experience • Over 5 years in the HVAC industry with technical hands-on experience. - Experience in HVAC Service Industry.
Skills & Requirements - Available to respond to service emergencies as needed, including participation in an on‑call rotationÂ
- Ability to lift 100 lbs or moreÂ
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookÂ
- CAD or SketchUp experience is a plusÂ
- Highly responsive with a collaborative, team‑oriented attitudeÂ
- Ability to safely carry and set up extension laddersÂ
- Strong verbal and written communication skillsÂ
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environmentÂ
