Key Responsibilities: Categorize and post transactions in QuickBooks (accounting software, generally known) and maintain a chart of accounts (7 small businesses) Set up and execute payments Prepare financial statements (PNL Balance sheet, cash flow) Coordinate with external CPA (certified public accountant) Complete bank and credit card reconciliations Manage on-going compliance: 1099 (forms for vendors), annual reports, sales tax returns, reemployment tax returns Managing loan assets (buy/sell, prepare purchase advices, remittance reports for investors, record transactions, maintain asset register). Qualifications 1+ years of hands-on bookkeeping for small businesses, ideally multi-entity. Accounting/Finance/Business education or equivalent practical experience, experience with online banking platforms.
