Job DetailsJob Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301The Role in Brief At Array Architects, we're not just creating spaces; we're redefining the future of healthcare environments through innovative design and unparalleled excellence. Array is seeking a Lead Project Architect to join us as we continue to set the standard for excellence in healthcare design. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, design sensitive, and has excellent organizational and communication skills.  He/she should possess the ability to mentor and lead project teams and provide quality assurance and quality control reviews of office work, ensuring the translation of design intent into construction documentation on complex projects. Responsibilities:  Perform technical reviews in accordance with Array’s QA/QC protocol. Collaborate with Practice Area Leader to drive project performance and initiatives for the region.  Communicate and mentor staff through the project work in a complete understanding of Array technical processes. Responsible for the work planning and execution of complex projects.  Maintain the Array Approach to consistent execution of technical excellence in the NYC Region.  Review, sign, and seal architectural documents.  Meet regularly with Practice Area Leader and Studio Directors to proactively identify technical issues, to plan/ workflow, schedule staff, and resources.  Contribute to the development of office standards specific to the technical processes and project delivery methodologies. May participate in business development meetings with team leaders to target specified project, client or market opportunities.           Takes personal responsibility for the technical performance of the region.  Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture required, Master's degree preferred. 5-10 years experience. Healthcare experience preferred. LEED Green Associate Accreditation required (within twelve months of employment); LEED AP preferred. Strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness. Knowledge of architectural building systems. Knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines. Knowledge of building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents. Proficiency in Revit. Experience spec writing in e-spec. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, and InDesign graphic software preferred. Strong communication skills Ability to work in team environment
