About the location:

Pool Server

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale is looking for a Pool Server that strives for excellence and is a highly motivated team player.

The Pool Server will provide impeccable service at all times, respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and comfort.

 Responsibilities 

• To quickly assess guests' needs and flex style appropriately.
• To use the guests' names whenever possible, in accordance with company policy and procedure.
• To add style to a dynamic environment.
• To build and maintain rapport with regular guests (both residents and non-residents) as well as cultivating relationships with new patrons.
• To remain calm, composed and in control, even in unusual situations.
• To effectively handle guest complaints, compliments, concerns or special requests.
• To project a positive, professional and friendly image to the guests and fellow employees.
• To assist the Food & Beverage Manager to develop and maintain a record of all regular guests with their preferences (e.g. beverage type, table location, birthdays, special family occasions).
• To ensure effective communication between all employees of the department and also with other departments.
• To take proper care of uniform, personal appearance and hygiene in accordance with hotel policy and procedure.
• To supervise the Runners and Bussers at all times during shifts.
• To work together with other members of staff in all departments and especially the Kitchen.
• To be honest, sober and a good timekeeper at all times.
• To attend monthly meetings of Restaurant, Bar & Terrace Team.
