Position Summary
The Licensed Primary Therapist is responsible for providing individual and group therapy services to adults in Residential, PHP and IOP levels of care, ensuring high-quality, ethical, and compliant treatment for individuals with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy
- Facilitate structured therapeutic groups aligned with program curriculum
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
- Respond to clinical crises, including de-escalation and safety planning
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in EMR
- Coordinate care with psychiatry, nursing, case management, and external providers
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and accreditation standards
Licensure Requirements (Required)
- Florida: LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT
- License must be active and in good standing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in IOP, PHP, or residential treatment
- Dual-diagnosis experience
- Group therapy facilitation experience
- EMR proficiency
Monday-Friday: 8am-4pm, alternating Saturday mornings.
