We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Agent to join our team at the GA Telesis Composite Repair Facility located in Ft Lauderdale, FL. The Purchasing Agent is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring aircraft parts, materials, and services required for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft components. This role ensures that all purchases comply with aviation regulations and internal quality standards, while maintaining cost efficiency and inventory accuracy. This is an onsite role, no remote or hybrid options available. 

**Important Notice
 Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Source and procure aviation parts, tools, and materials to support maintenance and repair operations.
  • Evaluate supplier quotes and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate purchase orders and track order statuses to ensure timely delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with approved vendors, manufacturers, and distributors.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, and company-specific regulations and quality standards (e.g., traceability, certifications, shelf-life requirements).
  • Coordinate with maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics teams to fulfill material requirements.
  • Identify alternate suppliers to reduce lead times and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Resolve discrepancies related to orders, shipments, invoices, or quality issues.
  • Maintain and update procurement records and supplier performance reports in the ERP/MRP system (Quantum).
  • Assist with audits, documentation, and regulatory inspections as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of purchasing experience, preferably in aviation or aerospace MRO.
  • Knowledge of aircraft parts and aviation-related procurement practices.
  • Familiarity with FAA/EASA regulations, traceability, and documentation standards.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
