Rosie’s Bar and Grill is now hiring experienced Servers/Bartenders (full and part time) to join our team! We’re a fun and popular, casual full-service restaurant in Wilton Manors with friendly service, awesome food, fabulous drinks and the everyday goal of providing our guests a great, memorable experience that takes their cares away.

• Have previous high-volume restaurant experience.

Provide timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests.

While it is not possible to detail all activities and responsibilities related to the Bartender position, the following contains a list of duties a Bartender at our restaurant can expect to perform on a typical day:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the restaurant’s standard drink recipes.
Present drink menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding beverages.
Present food menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food items.
Record food and drink orders accurately and enter into the Point-of-sale system immediately after having received them.
Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
Accept guest payment, process credit card charges, and make change if necessary.
Clean and sterilize glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
Stock bar with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, or straws.
Clean bars, work areas, and tables.
Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas.

Requirements

Be 21 years of age or older
One or more years experience as both a bartender and a server
Able to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests
Excellent basic mathematical skills
Complete and pass restaurant-approved foodhandler/food safety training and coursework
Able to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours at a time)
Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food and containers weighing up to 50 pounds
Stamina and availability to work 30-40 hours per week
