Receive, store, load and move building materials in the warehouse and in the loading of trucks. Workweek is Monday through Friday and may require some overtime work.
Qualifications
- Must have ability to effectively and safely handle a forklift
- Must be able to read the customer order, shipping order, purchase order, and/or bill of lading to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Must be able to count and perform simple arithmetic
- Must be able to physically move material either by forklift or by hand to unload incoming materials from railcars, trucks; and, to load outgoing deliveries
- Must be able to identify products and accurately handle items specified on written company documents
- Must be able to keep warehouse clean and orderly
- Need to maintain good business relations with customers who come to the warehouse to pick up material
