The Logistics Analyst is responsible for maintaining the shipping calendar current per customer delivery requests. Respond quickly to emails and have a sharp eye for detail. Requires ability to collaborate and communicate with other departments. Must be able to work in a team setting to meet company and individual goals. Requires working in Excel, SharePoint, and ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling shipping dates for sales orders and maintaining shipping schedule updates.

• Processing shipment paperwork and distributing back-order lists.

• Verifying shipments are sent to customers with the proper labeling and correct inventory inside the package.

• Creating pick-ticket paperwork for picking / packing team.

• Distribute missing items report.

• Utilize computer system to identify tasks, enter completed tasks and find goods.

• Fill orders for the delivery, sale, and movement of products and goods.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

• Adhere to housekeeping standards.

• Follow warehouse safety guidelines.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • 2-3 years warehouse experience required
  • Forklift experience required
  • Transportation Management System Experience required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel required.
  • Scan Gun experience required
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • ERP system experience preferred.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

  • Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
  • Will require heavy work (lifting greater than 30 pounds).
  • Machinery operation requires the use of safety PPE equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel-toe shoes, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted
  • Regularly required to stand or sit, and move about the facility. Ability to work at a computer.

 

Materials and Equipment Used: Will require proper coordination, and motor skills to work with power/hand tools as needed in addition to the use of a computer.

 

Tools: ERP Software, Label Machines, scales and printers.
