Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Systems Architect / Engineer to support a U.S. Army enterprise analytics and cloud initiative. The successful candidate will provide systems architecture expertise supporting Azure environments, data pipelines, application and system integration, APIs, security controls, and scalable enterprise solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional systems architecture experience.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure architecture.
- Experience designing and implementing data pipelines and data integration solutions.
- Experience with APIs and system integrations.
- Experience designing and implementing security controls within enterprise technology environments.
- Experience developing secure, scalable, and highly available technology architectures.
- U.S. Army, DoD, or federal government experience.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Experience supporting U.S. Army enterprise systems, analytics, logistics, or sustainment environments.
- Experience with Azure Government and/or DoD cloud environments.
- Experience supporting IL5 or higher environments.
- Experience integrating authoritative government data sources into enterprise analytics environments.
- Experience with Azure-native data, integration, automation, and security services.
- Experience with Power Platform, Power Apps, or related enterprise application technologies.
- Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications.
- Design and develop secure, scalable architectures supporting Army enterprise analytics and decision-support capabilities.
- Design and implement data pipelines, APIs, and system integrations connecting authoritative Army data sources.
- Develop architecture solutions leveraging existing Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
- Define and implement appropriate security controls and architecture patterns.
- Support integration of additional systems into the Army's Sustainment Enterprise Analytics environment.
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation, data flows, interfaces, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with data scientists, data analysts, cloud engineers, application developers, and Army stakeholders to ensure solutions are properly integrated and aligned with operational requirements.
- Evaluate technical solutions and make recommendations regarding scalability, security, performance, and interoperability.
- Support technical discussions, design reviews, development meetings, and coordination activities with Army stakeholders.
