You’ll independently turn custom concepts into production-ready documentation, working closely with engineers and the shop to keep projects moving quickly and accurately. The Draftsman II independently produces accurate and moderately complex 2D drawings and 3D models that are manufacturable and aligned with company standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining fast turnaround times on custom orders while ensuring manufacturability and documentation accuracy. This position requires strong SolidWorks proficiency, practical manufacturing knowledge, and the ability to translate customer requirements into clear, buildable designs. Draftsman II team members also contribute to programming shop equipment and identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and standardization.
